Twin Brooks Community League Playground

The Twin Brooks Playground and Park Committee is so happy to hear the laughter of children as they play and provide feedback on how happy community residents are with the new playground! It was a labor of love that only came together through the tireless efforts of volunteers, student participation, generous community donors, The City of Edmonton and the Province of Alberta.

The Long awaited playground

We would also like to extend our thanks to CRS (Canadian Recreation Solutions), specifically Jedd and Kylie Russell, for helping our vision come to life! One final thanks to the employees of GLVT – without them our playground would never have been completed. Through the adverse weather conditions this summer, rain – so much rain, they still put in the extra time to ensure we got the playground open on a gorgeous long weekend!

Gazebo for families in the playground

We are one element short of a completed project. The Committee decided that having a pod full of playground equipment was worth removing one piece at the final hour. The concrete pad has been poured and is ready for its final element – a metal gazebo. We want this to be a gathering place for families and a shaded area close to the park where parents and grandparents can watch children play.
